FEBRUARY 28 ANNOUNCEMENT CONCERNING COVID-19

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Greetings in Jesus – the Lord of Glory in whose arms we rest!

Due to the government's encouragement to limit group gatherings as well as following deliberation from our Executive Council, International Lutheran Church has made the decision to migrate our learning, growing and worshipping together onto a virtual platform. While we will not be meeting physically in the sanctuary, we encourage you to join us in using the resources that will be made available as we continue on this journey through Lent. We will notify you again when we plan to reopen the church for corporate worship.

In an effort to maintain the rhythm of our worship life as much as possible, we will be pre-recording a service that will include most aspects of a regular Sunday service, including the Scripture readings, hymns, prayers, responsive readings, tithes and offerings, and other elements. These will be posted to the website and our ILC Facebook page for your use at home. If possible and convenient for your schedule, we encourage you to set aside our normal worship time (10:00 a.m. on Sundays) to worship our Lord, Jesus, who continues to lead us in our journey to the cross this Lenten season.

Though we are not meeting in person, church operations still continue and to that end we also encourage you to make use of offering your tithes and gifts via online giving (KRW - Citibank -  260-00497-243-01). If you are unable or do not wish to give electronically, you may hold your offerings until we resume our normal worship schedule.

Thank you for your understanding and flexibility. God bless and keep you in His care.

Pastor Carl
